This two-storey mid-terraced house is situated towards the harbour
end of Beadnell Village. For many years it was the farmhouse for
Benthall Farm which we farmed until 1997, and it was our own family
home for over 30 years where we brought up our three daughters.
In 2002 we moved to a new house on the farm land, and since refurbishment, our old house has been let as a holiday cottage. Its situation close to the harbour and both the long sandy bay and the rocky beach makes it very attractive to families with children. However, its panoramic sea views from the upstairs lounge towards the Longstone lighthouse and the Farne Islands make it equally inviting for couples or more mature groups.
The four bedrooms are all on the first floor - one king-size and one double bedded room, both with en-suite facilities, and two twin-bedded rooms which share the upstairs bathroom which has an over-bath shower.
Downstairs is a smaller family room, a separate dining room, a large kitchen (with Rayburn stove, electric cooker, fridge, dishwasher and microwave), a utility room (with a washer/dryer and chest freezer) and a bathroom.
Both sitting rooms have colour TVs and CD players, with a VCR downstairs and a DVD player upstairs.
There is a large tarmac parking area for 5+ cars at the front of the house and a big secluded south-facing rear garden with a patio area, garden furniture and gas BBQ.
All bed linen and hand towels are included in the rent.
A cot and high chair are available.
Sorry, no smoking is allowed, and no pets.
