Review the details of each property on the 'Cottages' pages and decide which one you would prefer.

You can then check prices and 'live' availability. We only take bookings for full weeks, starting on a Saturday.

Once you have decided which cottage and when, then you have the facility to make a provisional booking through the website or by calling the owners directly.

Whichever method you choose, we will return your call, usually by phone or occasionally by e-mail within 48hrs. You can ask questions, discuss details of the accommodation or ask for more information about the area.

At this point we will ask for a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the rental to secure your booking. We ask for the deposit within ten days of the provisional booking otherwise the booking will lapse, and the week will show as available again.

We will contact you 4-6 weeks before your holiday to request the balance and discuss specific requirements, eg do you need a cot, do any party members have special needs etc.

Once you have paid the balance we will send details about gaining entrance to the property, times of arrival, departure etc

Please note that we can usually only take payment by cheque payable in British Pounds.

We aim to make this process as simple and straightforward as possible. Remember that you are dealing directly with the owners with no agents or middlemen. We are renting our family homes, which have been owned by our families for generations. There should be no detail that we cannot elaborate on. Test us!
